General Rules of Play
- Clean and replace is permitted at all times, ball must be placed no closer to the hole
- If your target line to the green is behind a tree or other obstruction, you may move your ball one club length but you may not place the ball closer to the hole
- On Hole #6, if your tee shot lands behind the pond fence on the left, you may pick up and drop your ball on to the fairway laterally from your lie, but no closer to the hole
- If your ball is in the rough, and within one club length from the fairway, you may drop your ball on the fairway but no closer to the hole
- You may not practice chipping, pitching or putting on any hole during a league match, failure to comply will result in forfeiting that hole
- If you take a practice swing while on the tee or fairway and your ball moves it should not be counted as a stroke, however if the intent was to take a swing, and you miss it counts as a stroke
- If you are all square in a match and you lose the next hole, you will receive a stroke on the following hole. If you are ahead in a match and you lose a hole you will not receive a stroke. You can only receive a stroke if you are even or behind in the match having just lost the previous hole
- Threesomes will award the winner 3 points and other two players 1 point each. If there is a tie between two of the players, then all three players receive one point
- Twosomes will award the winner 3 points and the loser one point
